I needed to get fit for a charity boxing match. After taking a class where Mark was the instructor, I asked him about personal training as the class was really good. I then found out he’d done some boxing in the Army before which convinced me to sign up with him. He set out an 8 week plan including strength & conditioning workouts as well as boxing training to give me the best results in such a short time and helping me win my fight!
He pushed me to my limits but was always friendly about it. My time with Mark was hard work but enjoyable. I’d recommend Mark to anyone, whether it be for weight loss, muscle gain or for an event like myself.
Mark had been recommended to me by a friend and he taught me new exercises as well as the logic behind each one. He also was very encouraging to beat any personal bests. He has a great sense of humour which makes every session seem more social and fun compared to other classes. He’s very professional in terms of knowing his stuff but will not make you feel intimidated in any way if you’re new to exercise. I Always have a great laugh and come away from each PT session feeling great. This is the only time in my life I’ve looked forward to exercising. I’d recommend Mark to anybody who is interested in personal fitness and is a little cautious about getting started.
I wanted to be stronger, healthier and to learn new training techniques. Mark has created/assigned to me a balanced programme with achievable goals. He has helped me to break my prejudice to heavyweight lifting and pushed me to become stronger than ever. I admire Mark’s patience, knowledge, professionalism, friendliness, accessibility and understanding. He has motivated and helped me to believe in myself. His sessions are specifically tailored to me and my goals. He is kind and helps you to push your limits whilst staying in control. I’m much stronger than before. I’m healthier!
